From childhood I have a special fascination for animals and especially for dogs. In 2000 I first came into contact with the breed, the mother of Kochany and since then the Tatra-virus struck here. We live in a small village in Drenthe and since 1975 I am active in cynology. TwoTatraShepherd Dogs are part of our family as Duch Gor and Kochany deceased in 2017 and 2019. Zibah and her daughter Dusza are still with us. In my spare time I like to stroll with them through the woods.
In 2009 it was decided to realize our dream of breeding Tatra Shepherd Dogs. In 2010 we saw this coming true as our kennel Bialy Domownik was founded and the first litter was born. The kennel name we have chosen is not just a random name and translated from the Polish language it means “White friend of the family” which is exactly as we experience our dogs. They share our homes and are our friends. We dedicate this race a warm heart and believe it is most important to pursue the best and therefore consider in this order: Health, Character and Beauty in the breed of great importance. Of course our dogs we breed with, meet the requirements of TOPnl. We deliberately opted for a small scale as to breeding, thus we have enough time for them and for the future offspring so that they become true “white friends of the family” as well.
We breed with love and care for our animals and our goal is improving. Also in the combinations with our males, we try to make responsible choices, so that it can reasonably be expected that there will be a ascending line with regard to development of the breed. Fortunately over several years now we still have good contact with the owners of the bitches who were mated with our males, thus we can also follow the development of this offspring. The main objective is breeding healthy and sound Tatradogs with good, steady character, who in their appearance, meet the breed standard as described.
